Overview
When considering the installation of a solar electric power system for your home, you must first decide the intended use of the electricity. A small grid-tied system will offset some of your utility costs. A larger system could offset all of your annual electric costs and produce additional electricity to sell back to the utility company. A grid-tied system may also incorporate a battery backup which will provide electricity at times when power from the utility is down. You may also consider an off-grid system for areas without utility access. The size and options you select will determine the equipment and cost. Westwood can assist you with any of these systems.
Our up-to-date connections to local and national policy, rebate programs and incentives will benefit your project. We assist our customers with all forms and applications necessary to take advantage of available incentives.
